2019 marked the end of our first large scale construction project in Norway. We completed a micro-apartment building in a Norwegian ski resort for seasonal accommodation of the resort’s employees.
We fabricated the modules in our Estonian factories, shipped them to Norway and installed on-site in order to complete a building with 52 apartments, common areas with kitchens, a gym, a laundry room and other leisure facilities. As of now, the building is in use and providing a short term home for over 50 people.
Simple and sturdy
Sometimes simple is better. Especially when simple solutions are teamed with high quality. The short-term accommodation buildings are built for easy maintenance and longevity, opposed to residential apartment building projects where design is in higher regard.
The project is a good example of creating a comfortable living environment while keeping the costs down. It meets all of Norwegian construction rules and regulations (NS 8407), and has passed a strict quality control process in our factory.
Turnkey modular buildings from Estonia
The fully factory-finished and furnished modular buildings have become the favourite solution of Scandinavian developers that are constructing buildings for rent or other types of short term accommodation. It’s a drastic measure of simplifying the logistics and work organization on the construction site.
Our target is to complete up to 95% of the construction work in the factory. As the module in itself is a fully finished structure, it enables us to do the finishing work, tiling, piping, wiring and flooring, as well as install furniture, fixtures, vanities and appliances in the factory.
We mainly offer 2 solutions to our clients:
The production package
- We produce modules ready to be transported
- We will include additional installation materials and fittings
- We will send our instructor to guide the installation process
The turnkey package
- In addition to production we will take care of the transportation
- We carry out the installation work, connecting the utilities, and constructing walkways, terraces, balconies, etc.
We are flexible and open to negotiate different options with our clients.
This is only the beginning
With our first Norwegian project done and dusted we are working on the next ones and we’re excited to get into the details of our next projects in the near future. Meanwhile, we are looking for new partnerships and large scale projects in the Scandinavian market. If modular construction is something you could consider – get in touch with us and let’s discuss your ideas. We’d love to make use of our experiences to your benefit.
